Every great small business has a story, and Anna & Co.'s starts almost 40 years ago. Long before the first rack of Italian shirts or shelf of shoes from the Spanish island of Menorca, Anna had a spark of a dream.

What if she could open her own store to help women, like herself, her mom, and friends find high-quality, comfortable, and stylish outfits? 

Who Is Anna Pecharich?

This dream slowly began to unfold and become a very real reality. But at the time, Anna was still working with her mother to run a wholesale business selling baby accessories and gifts (supplying about 25 boutiques across the country). This dream she had was put on hold when Anna welcomed her first child, but she never forgot it. 

Bringing The Dream To Life In Atascadero

When Anna moved to a cozy town on the Central Coast, Atascadero, she found more than a place to live; she found a community she loved. She decided it was finally time to bring her dream to life and opened the doors to Anna & Mom in downtown Atascadero in 2017.

From Baby Gifts To A Full Boutique With Stylists

Initially, the shop as we know it didn't start out as the women's, kids', and home goods destination it is today. In its early days, it carried a small mix of home decor, baby clothing, and gifts. However, within the first month, that was all about to change. Anna noticed something important: the Central Coast needed a reliable source for high-quality, comfortable, and stylish women's clothing. She began the slow and hard work of building that into her business. From there, her boutique kept growing and now offers the wide range that it has today.

The name of her business was eventually changed to Anna & Co. as she continued to grow. Thanks to the overwhelming community support and demand, she outgrew her shop in downtown Atascadero. In the summer of 2026, she moved her business into a new Atascadero shopping center and plaza (conveniently right next to a grocery store) at 1875 El Camino Real Suite One, Atascadero, CA 93422. This is where her store currently resides, welcoming customers to her new location.

Ask anyone who's shopped with Anna, and they'll tell you. This shop is family, through and through. Anna's children come along on buying trips and act as her toughest critics, steering her toward the toys, clothing, and accessories kids actually want. Anna's mother is local too, and has been part of making the dream a reality every day. It's the kind of shop where you might spot a family member working the register, because at its core, this is a family business.

• Children's apparel — girls' and boys' clothing, plus kids' shoes and socks. 
• Shoes — women's footwear from Corkys, Pons, and Sofft, plus children's and baby shoes.
• Accessories — eyewear, sunglasses, and jewelry.
• Home goods and gifts — barware, home fragrance, décor accents, self-care items, books, and greeting cards.

And true to Anna's original instinct for personal service, shoppers can now book a full stylist shopping experience, bring friends for a private styling session, or catch the team live on Facebook Live shopping events, Tuesday through Saturday at 10 AM PST.
